1.      National Mosque
Not far from Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and classic building’s belonging to KTM Berhad headquarters stood proud of one of the largest mosque in Kuala Lumpur. The mosque has a large capacity of 15,000 people. Stylish design contemporer mosque with blue irom dome showing abstract and geometric forms consisting of 18 points symbolize 13 State in Malaysia and the 5 pillars of islam. The best features of the mosque are the 73 meters high minarets and its design which inspired by The Grand Mosque of Mecca. The mosque is a bold and modern approach in reinforced concrete, symbolic of the aspirations of a then newly independent Malaysia.

        How to get there: If you take commuter train (KTM) get off at Kuala Lumpur Railway Station then walk towards to National Mosque. If you take LRT you can get off at Pasar Seni LRT Station then walk over the bridge pas the Klang River walk towards to Kuala Lumpur Railways Station. If you take a bus it also very easy ro reach by public bus among other thing RapidKL bus, GoKL bus as well as double decker bus tour Kuala Lumpur Hop On Hop Off Bus and get off at National Mosque area.



2.      Jamek Mosque
Located at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak River and right at the interchange station between two of Rapid KL’s light rail transit (LRT) lines namely Ampang dan Sri Petaling Line and The Kelana Jaya line there is one of the oldest mosque in Kuala Lumpur City which was founded in 1909 named Jamek Mosque. This mosque was designed by Arthur Benison Hubback adopted in his designs was similar to that of Northern Indian. This mosque was built by merchant-rader of islam that originated from India in the British colonial era and was oficialy opened in 1909 by the Sultan of Selangor.

When you visit Jamek mosque, you will find it nestled beneath a canopy of shady swaying coconut trees. From its design we can see this mosque has a Moorish, Indo-Saracenic or Muglah architecture style in it. The Neo-Moorish design can be easily discerned from other types of architectural designs by their signature of onion shaped domes, spires, domed shaped canopies, multiple minarets and horse shoe shaped arches hanging over decorated columns.

How to get there: If you take public transportation the nearest LRT station is Masjid Jamek. You can take LRT Kelana Jaya Line or LRT Ampang Line and get off at Masjid Jamek Station and walk towards to Jamek Mosque which situated a stone's away from the station. If you take a bus it also very easy ro reach by public bus among other thing RapidKL bus, GoKL bus as well as double decker bus tour Kuala Lumpur Hop On Hop Off Bus and get off at Masjid Jamek or Dataran Merdeka area.

3.      Indian Mosque
Situated a stone's away from the Masjid Jamek station and Jamek Mosque you can walk towards to Jalan Masjid india. After passing shopping haven that selling a goods ranging from textile, sarees, jewelry, foods and miscellaneous things you will find beautiful mosque which also included as one of the oldest and historical mosque in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is Mosque built in 1870 by early migrated Indian Muslims.

 In its development, this building has been renovated to increase space and improve facilities to accommodate growing number of worshipers. Now this mosque has a bigger capacity which has accomodate 3000 people. During Friday pray or Ramadhan if the space is not enough the road would be filled with Indian Muslim performing their prayer here. Around this place draws huge crowds during the weekends and before major festive seasons such as the holy month of Ramadhan, Aidil Fitri and Aidil Qurban.
