1600 World Tour In Batu Caves, Malaysia |
This
is the fourth time I went to Batu Caves
in Malaysia. The only reason I
coming back to Batu Caves its because there’s a panda invasion in this temple. Nope, this is not the real
panda but this one is 1600 Pandas crafted using recycled paper mache in
various pose, size and emotion as a WWF program 1600 Pandas World Tour In Malaysia to
promote the message of panda conservation and sustainable development.
This program is started in 2008 as a collaboration between
WWF and Paulo Grangeon which is known as acclaimed artist from France. They
created 1600 Panda to represent the alarming number of pandas left in the wild.
With the theme of Initiating the Culture of Creative Conservation this program
has an aim to bring awareness to all peoples on the importance of natural conservation
and sustainable development that need to conserve it. And lucky I have a chance
to saw this 1600 Panda in Batu Caves, Malaysia.
